Richie Smith brings with him over 20 years of national and international executive leadership roles with an extensive background in change management, agriculture and logistics. Richie has had significant experience as a Chief Executive in a range of industry sectors before focusing on governance roles. He currently holds or has recently held, chairmanship and directorship roles in a number of companies including Tapex Group PTY, Ngai Tahu Farming, New Zealand Post Group and several private entities. He is also Chairman of the United Fire Brigades Association of New Zealand in a voluntary capacity. Richie has held previous directorship positions in the dairy, agriculture, telecommunications, technology and tourism sectors. He was also a Ministerial appointment to a District Health Board.
