Given the company’s Timaru roots, the Hilton Haulage brand is well imprinted in the South Canterbury community. The township is a great place for whanau (family) to raise tamariki (children) with affordable housing and good education. In recent years, with the pandemic, whanau and whanaungatanga (the connection between people) has become even more important to the physical and mental health of our tamariki.
The new playground will provide a free, fun experience for residents, attracting visitors with economic benefits for the community and improving the social, physical and mental health of tamariki.
